Julie L. O’Brien
Professional Experience
Julie specializes in business and commercial litigation in federal and state courts. Julie’s practice focuses primarily on defense of construction contractors and dental professionals, as well as representation of other businesses and individuals. Her practice also includes bodily injury defense, and she advises businesses on contract, risk assessment, and alternative dispute resolution. Julie has also successfully defended cases at state court, arbitration and federal court. Prior to joining Wiles Law Group, Julie performed as a judicial clerk at the Multnomah County Circuit Court. She also worked at Lancer Insurance Company assisting claims handlers with legal research and analysis.
Education
Julie earned her Juris Doctorate at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Environmental Studies, Earth Science, and Social Science and minoring in Natural Resource Management and Geography from Central Michigan University. Julie also has engaged in courses of study at Kendall College of Art and Design and at the University of Michigan.

Julie is admitted to practice law in the States of Oregon and Washington, and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of Oregon.

When not at work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband kiteboarding and rock climbing.
