Julie began practicing law in the State of Washington in 2002 and broadened her practice to Oregon in 2003. She specializes in federal and state court litigation, as well as administrative law. Julie’s practice focuses primarily on defense of construction and dental professionals in civil litigation, as well as in regulatory proceedings.
Her litigation experience also encompasses defense of automobile, premises liability, products liability and additional claims involving bodily injury and property damages, as well as development of corporate risk management.
Julie has successfully defended cases in arbitration, state court, federal court, and at the administrative level. Prior to joining Wiles Law Group, Julie was as a judicial law clerk at the Multnomah County Circuit Court, and also worked at a major insurance company.
Julie earned her Juris Doctorate at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Environmental Studies, Earth Science, and Social Science and minoring in Natural Resource Management and Geography from Central Michigan University. Julie also has engaged in courses of study at Kendall College of Art and Design and at the University of Michigan.
Julie is admitted to practice law in the States of Oregon and Washington, and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of Oregon.

When not at work, Julie enjoys kiteboarding, rock climbing and spending time with her husband and children.
